I have joined the server but I hate starting up on a new server so I keep putting off building my first shack and becoming a full hatter. I was merely curious.

Dont worry.... Im just seeing if at least ONE person is joining the server XD

I have two questions:

1) Do we have to submit ALL of what we want to submit in one portfolio?
2) If I'm submitting a build should I avoid using things like hats or your three colours (blue, green, yellow) as detail work?

Aaah :o You've no idea how delighted I am to see that auditions of sorts are open. Surely tonight and tomorrow I'll be organizing my portfolio for submission :)
I'll be applying for Set Building as well as General Art,
So excited ^-^

Just a quick update to allay any concerns:

Yes we are still looking at auditions. No one has been approached yet, but we have picked out a bunch of awesome people. We will only contact when we are sure there is something for you to do.

Origins is on hold right now, as we are sorting out moving in together over the next month. That is taking all our time, so our videos will be our normal stuff, Origins simply requires a lot more focus and dedication than let's plays. We'd rather focus on it more when we are all in a single place and can manage the project better.

Rest assured we are still working on it when we can!

Excellent! I thought that it was said in the last Hat Chat that certain builders and builds had been chosen. Phew! I think we all can understand about putting Origins on hold. A long creative process produces quality work (a LOTR if you will) which is always better than rushing cutting bits out for the sake of getting things out "on time". (a Halo 2 if you will :P) It's still good, but it leaves us feeling disappointed.

Good day. I applied as a set builder and requested to receive a mail about the application, but as of yet I have received no message and therefore I worry whether you have received it. I tried to send another application to see if it was not sent correctly, however the same problem has occured. I am clicking the "I want to receive a copy of this message" button on the "Auditions" form. I hope you have received the application and I hope this message finds you well.

Yours sincerely,
xGameRebelx.

Well I would love to join the buiders. I've got an idea already, but I didn't know you had to make a portfolio first.

I guess I better get started making it now because I want to help building soon!

EDIT: Making a portfolio takes longer as I thought...

Good Day Hatters, Vertigo here, and I'm having a bit of a problem with MCSkin3D. In the picture that Trott shows, he points at the button which makes the skin DECREASE in resolution, not INCREASE. So, I clicked on the button that Trott showed, and like I said, the skin decreased in resolution. However there was a button next to the button that Trott showed an it said 'Increase Resolution'. But when I clicked on that, the program shut down, and it keeps happening every time I do it.

Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Vertigo.

The arrow seen in the image with the resolution change was misplaced, though I'm sure you've probably discovered that now :P

In regards to your MCSkin3D client crashing, are you running the most up to date version of the application? I do recall there were issues in previous versions of the application if trying to change the resolution too much on a single skin  (IE Normal to lower, up-scaling back to normal etc), it also seems to be the case if you try to up-scale the resolution too much the program just simply crashes which sounds like this could be the issue you are having. Does the program crash on all skins you try to increase the resolution on, or does it only happen on certain skins?

Good day Makovic and all other Hatters out there, Vertigo here, and this is a letter to Makovic. Yes, I am using the latest version. I tried increasing the resolution on both female warriors and, like I said, the client crashed. So, I downloaded other versions of the client to see if it worked, but alas, it failed. But, that was yesterday's problem. So, lets jump to TODAY

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, I saw your replay Makovic and I re-installed the client and tried again. I used femalewarrior 1 and clicked on the 'Increase resolution' button. But nothing happened ! So, I tried it again and, what-do-ya-know, it closes. I try it one more time and- A window pops up saying the following:

Application Error !

MCSkin3D encountered an error and may become unstable.

However, fear not, as there is something you can do to help !

If you wish to help the developers, please send us an error

report ! At the far bottom of this window is a blue link which leads

you to the contents of an error report. Sending this to us (search

for us on PlanetMinecraft) will help development greatly !

*Box* Don't show this again                                              Close

To view the report, click here.

I need some help guys ! I sent the last post on here to the Minecraft Fourms. Hopefully, they find the bug and squish it ! I don't want to boast and brag, but I am quite a good Minecraft Skin maker, and It would be an honour for me to work and take part with such amazing people, doing amazing things.

Thanks,

Vertigo
